Through the Georgia Advocacy Office’s (GAO) PABSS program (Protection and Advocacy for Beneficiaries of Social Security), GAO helps remove barrier to work for people with disabilities, between the ages of 14 and 64, who get SSI (Supplemental Security Income) or SSDI (Social Security Disability Insurance) benefits.
GAO works with employers, job programs, schools, and families to make sure people with disabilities can secure meaningful employment in integrated workplaces, earning at least minimum wage.
