SABE is a national self-advocacy organization. Their mission is to ensure that people with disabilities are treated as equals and that they are given the same opportunities to make choices as anyone else. Their website provides information on training, technical assistance, and resources.
National Council on Independent living (NCIL): www.ncil.org
NCIL is a cross-disability, grassroots organization run by and for people with disabilities that represents Centers for Independent Living (CILs), Statewide Independent Living Councils (SILCs), individuals with disabilities, and other organizations that advocate for the human and civil rights of people with disabilities throughout the United States. Their website provides information on training, technical assistance, and resources.

The National Empowerment Center states that they are a consumer/survivor/expatient-run organization. They provide information and referral, conference planning, workshops, and many other resources.

The Bazelon Center pursues a progressive mental health policy agenda, particularly at the federal level. They provide technical assistance and resources.

The Clearinghouse is a national consumer technical assistance center. The Clearninghouse defines “Consumers” as those who receive or have received mental health services. Their website provides information on training, technical assistance, and resources.

NYLN supports youth leadership by bringing young people into leadership roles and making sure they have what they need to be successful in these positions. Their website provides information on resources, curriculum training, speakers, and workshops.

GMHCN describes themselves as an organization run by and for consumers of state services for mental health, developmental disabilities, and addictive diseases. They provide resources, information and referral, and training.
Georgia Statewide Independent Living Centers (SILCGA): www.silcga.org
